Murcia Airport is further away from Benidorm than Alicante Airport. It lies around 140kms away but the connecting roads are good.
Murcia Airport is expanding in terms of the availability of flights to Murcia and the facilities. Once one of the much smaller Spanish Airports, Murcia now accommodates daily flights from airlines such as British Airways, Iberia, Bmibaby, Flybe, Jet2, Mytravellite and Ryanair.
Murcia Airports transport facilities are a little limited with the nearest bus service running from a town a couple of kms away the only real choices you have are with Murcia Car Hire or by pre-booking your private Benidorm Airport transfers.
Our advice is to try and book flights to Benidorm via Alicante rather than Murcia but if the price is right and the other ingredients such as timetables and travelling from your local airport work better then Murcia Airport is a viable option. |
